Up early again to dance this morning! They do it in their pyjamas so they don't have to get dressed before we start. We are learning the dance from Lazy Town and some others and the temperature at that time in the morning is fantastic, lovely and cool but without being cold.
This morning we have divided into two groups, the older ones and most of Primary 3 went on a short bus journey then we climbed up (what felt like) a mountain to visit some caves. They did really well as it was a difficult climb up and down and they were real champions. It took all morning while the younger ones stayed here and went on the climbing wall and then they played soft archery which is the same as normal archery but safer.
After lunch of Russian salad, hamburger and chips and melon we all did some reading and then onto the bus to go to the stables. They got to ride aswell as look after the horses and were very brave around and on them.
Back then for shower and even time for a cooking workshop where they made cookies which turned out to be delicious! We ate them at movie night which in the end we did inside with blankets and cushions all over the floor as it gets dark so late here that the film would not finish until too late!
They had the chance to relax watching a film which they needed after so much activity!
The behaviour and attitudes are fantastic although they do miss you all and we have a few moments of sadness sometimes which is completely normal too,
All the best,
Miss Angela and Miss Jill
